# Docs MCP server

> Let an AI tool search and read the Gravity docs. It has no access to your account.

The docs MCP server gives an AI tool two abilities: search the Gravity docs, and read any page in full. It is public, needs no API key, and cannot see or change anything in your Gravity account.

To let an agent read reports or change your account, use the dashboard MCP server for [advertisers](https://docs.trygravity.com/advertisers/dashboard-mcp.md) or [publishers](https://docs.trygravity.com/ai-platforms/dashboard-mcp.md) instead.

## Connect

1. In your AI tool, add a remote MCP server with the URL `https://docs.trygravity.com/mcp`. Leave authentication empty.
2. Ask the tool to list its tools. You should see `search_gravity` and `query_docs_filesystem`.

Each tool has its own steps for adding a server. Check its documentation if you can't find the setting.

## What the tools do

| Tool | What it does |
| - | - |
| `search_gravity` | Searches the docs and returns the matching pages. |
| `query_docs_filesystem` | Reads the full text of a page. |
